Millions Urged to evacuate as typhoon Shanshan batters Southern Japan.

Nearly 4 million people in southern Japan have been advised to evacuate as Typhoon Shanshan makes landfall, causing widespread power outages and severe weather on Kyushu island.

The Japan Meteorological Agency issued an emergency warning, predicting record rainfall that could lead to catastrophic flooding and landslides.

In response, hundreds of flights were canceled, bullet train services suspended, and major companies, including Toyota, shut down operations.
