The prices of some essential goods have been reduced.

The prices of some essential consumer goods sold by Lanka Sathosa have been reduced in order to provide relief to the public on the directives issued by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce.

Accordingly, 1 Kg of green gram  which was sold at Rs. 850 has been brought down to Rs. 799.

Price of White Sugar (bulk) 1 Kg has been reduced by Rs. 5 from its previous. Lanka Sathosa said the price of 1 kg of big onions  will be Rs. 300 with effect from today.
