Political leadership that close to the people is needed to rebuild the country. 

President Anura Kumara Sissanayake says that a political leadership  that close to the peo0ple is needed to rebuild the country.  

The lives of affected people can be built only through a strong  political mechanism.  He also stated the people have the bad image on public representatives.  

He made these at a public rally held in Rathnapura today under the theme of “Rata Hadana Api Ekata Malimawata”.  

The country  will face in anarchy if the political leadership goes to criminals.   The public confidence on politicians have lost due to some behavior of some politicians.  

He also emphasised that the people have the responsibility to select representatives to the parliament that will provide solutions to their problems.

 The President said it is important to establish a strong political mechanism which includes the Presidency, a strong Cabinet, Parliament, Provincial Councils and Local Government bodies to revive the collapsed country.
