The President decided to increase the salaries of public servants

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says that the President Ranil Wickremasinghe decided to increase the salaries of public servants based on the recommendations of the committee appointed for that purpose and the approval of the cabinet.

In a meeting held in Tissamaharama area, he pointed out that President Ranil Wickramasinghe has proven to the world that he is a capable leader.

Speaking about the election campaign of the UNP he said a number of opposition MPs  will come together to support the President shortly.
