Prices of variety of food items reduced

The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners Association says that the price of egg-related products will be reduced from midnight today.  Accordingly, fried rice and Kottu Rotte will be reduced by 40 rupees.

The Association said price of a  1 egg dish will be slashed by 40 rupees, egg rolls by 20 rupees, an egg hopper by 20 rupees and an egg roti by 2 rupees.

The association’s president, Harshana Rukshan, told SLBC that steps should be taken to stop the trade mafia in the Restaurant  sector he added that the consumers should be  benefited from the price reduction of the eggs in the open market.
